Where does the insurance coverage apply?
The use of the product is covered worldwide during travel, provided that any repair or replacement is conducted in the Baltic States at Apple-authorised service centres.

What is not covered by the policy?
- Accidental loss or disappearance of the product due to negligence, damage resulting from intentional acts, normal wear and tear, or cosmetic damage that does not affect the product’s performance.
- Mechanical and/or electronic malfunctions, regardless of their cause.
- Third-party or other Apple-branded ancillary items, accessories, or peripherals that were not included as part of an insured Apple product.
- Repairs or replacements that are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty or Apple’s one-year limited warranty or extended warranty.
- Correction of incorrect settings and configurations.
- Routine servicing, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Damage to or loss of software or data or software recovery and reinstallation.
- Any indirect loss or damage.
- Any damage or loss arising directly or indirectly from war (declared or undeclared), acts of foreign enemies, or the confiscation or destruction of property ordered by any government and national or local authority.

Can I cancel my insurance contract?
The insurance contract can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase or in accordance with the statutory procedure, with a full refund of the amount paid. Additional terms may apply, which can be found in the SmartCare Insurance Terms and Conditions.

Insurance coverage starts from the moment the policy is activated and remains valid for the period specified in the insurance policy. You can check the coverage period by logging into the certificate page.

Can I cancel my warranty?
The Extended Warranty can be cancelled within 30 days of purchase or in accordance with the statutory procedure, with a full refund of the amount paid. Additional terms may apply for used devices. Please refer to your warranty contract.

Can I change the purchase date of a device if it is incorrect?
You can update the purchase date within 14 days of the purchase. Simply log in to the certificate page and click Update Date. To complete the update, you will need to provide a copy of the proof of purchase.

How quickly will the date change be confirmed?
The date change will be confirmed within 48 hours of your request.

What is the period during which I can purchase the Extended Warranty?
The SmartCare Extended Warranty can be purchased before the expiry of the basic warranty.

When does the SmartCare Extended Warranty take effect?
The SmartCare Extended Warranty takes effect once your product’s warranty period expires. For business customers, it begins 12 months after the purchase date, and for individual customers, 24 months after the purchase date.
